What Does Life Resources Provide?
Helping hand

Listening and Direction

First and foremost, our goal is to hear what’s going on in your life and how we can connect you to the possible resources you need for the situation you are facing. Helping you find where you need to go or who to talk with is where we begin.

Financial Assistance

There are finances available to assist eligible families of Washington Township with rent, utilities and other areas of need. Once we receive your application, we will meet with you to determine eligibility. We will also partner with other agencies to decide how to best direct and assist you collectively.

Life Skill Workshops and Courses

Our desire is to help you become a healthy and whole person, physically and emotionally. We plan to offer several workshops throughout the year on health, diet, finances, parenting, and other life skills. Each workshop will have incentives for attendance and completion of the course work. They’ll be interesting, practical and fun. You’ll walk away with helpful tools to use going forward.

Life Mentoring

We have a small team of “Life Mentors” that are available to meet with you: as individuals or as a couple. They are well-versed in various Life Skill topics and enjoy assisting people as they create healthy pathways forward. The goal is to help individuals gain traction for positive change.
Note: Some of these Life Skills topics require an agreement to meet with mentors for up to 4 sessions.
